hello fellow gold traders! This week so far has been a great week and ive made the best profits i have since i started last month. Although today ive had one of my biggest losses today and it unfortunately practically set me back to where i was last week, all my trades today went against me hard right after I made my positions. Ah well its the aim of the game, you win some you lose some. It hasn't demotivated me as Im starting to get more confident and knowledgeable with my plays and easily making more profits per trade. Hi Buddies.....What's up? So here is my Last Post on FF and MM. After days 4H gave me a sell signal and possible targets can become 1813 and 1807. It can be a spike for liquidity Grab and possible during session and if not than NY data release but possibilities of take close above 1813.So buddies ......I wish to all to all of you a very Happy Trading and Happy weekend to all of you. So finally.....I QUIT FF and MM and will never join any public forum again in future.Bye Bye to ALL

Thank you Dizzy!! Yea ive definitely had a good Ego check lately and now accepting its better to have the profits i have now than to potentially trade further into the day and possibly end up losing it. Having those thoughts is what helped me get better trading days lately! I think i'll start to use SL a bit more, at least now a days, so things like yesterday dont happen again, at least to that scale haha.

I don't like using SL's either, but give yourself a limit and hedge your trade after. This will complicate your trade a little more as you now have to plan in the other direction as well! Sometimes keeping what you earned is also considered a profit instead of losing it! Good luck g

No not really yesterday I had my positions go really hard against me, and instead of closing it early to avoid a heavy loss, I kept them open thinking it will go closer to my favor so I could close them at an even smaller loss.

It did eventually go to my favor, but going from my previous reply, my ego got a bit too big there and i thought it would continue to go in my favor but it didn't and went really hard against me after and still hasn't gone to this point yet.

For context I had a gold buy at 1829.38 on the 4th, saw it get close the next day and I got greedy thinking it'll fix when it didn't.

Hi, I haven't been using SL but i may start now

As im new im using only really small lot sizes of 0.01 as that's what im comfortable with at the moment.

I started with 100 Euros, so may put a SL of about 5 euros on trades now, so that way when things like the other day happen, I lose only a small amount that im comfortable with.
