His recent article in Tablet entitled "Needle Points" is highly acclaimed by both sides. The article reviews the history of vaccination (Latin for Cow pox) and connects it with current COVID policy and vaccination-hesitancy. Though he is pro-vaccination, he breaks down the problem of vaccine hesitancy into smaller, more understandable pieces. Only 7% of the vaccine hesitant are true anti-vaxers for what one might say are irrational reasons. The majority of vaccine-hesitant are not anti-vaccine and have, in fact, been vaccinated for other diseases. He covers some of the government and FDA failiures of the last 50-60 years. The collusion between Big Pharma, politicians and the FDA is breadth-taking, and the media is complicit. The statistics the media reports -- based on Big Pharma's press releases -- mean nothing because details of how testing is carried-out and efficacy is defined won't be released until 2025. This is because it is considered proprietary information and testing hasn't been completed -- even though hundreds of millions of people have already been vaccinated.

Seeing this thread, I became infected with COVID in the early 2021. During that time, I felt that how hard the world is for a sick person. I had a chronic breathing issue from the very earlier. Yes, I believe that COVID has changed many things including Forex trading business. I still mentally not okay that affects my trading, driving me to reduce my trading sessions. My trading style has got a huge change after I recovered from that life-taking disease.

1. Meta analysis shows masks reduces spreading by a factor of 3x or more. In a case study, 43 nurses and doctors did not catch COVID when in prolonged close contact with a patient

2. physical (Social) distancing is a prevention. Analytically, for every 1 m distance, the infectious power is reduced by roughly 50%.

3. Lockdown in general leads to 85% drop of case number compared to organic growth curve. However lockdown is just a reinforced social distancing, which need not to be mandated if the people can exercise prevention measures by themselves!

4. Personal hygiene, just washing hand itself, according to a study cited by the review, reduces odds of infection by 0.34x.

5. Vaccines are averaged at 70% protective in this review. Note that vaccines do not mean you are clear of the pathogen (many people had HPV and zoster virus vaccines, but quite certainly they are tested positive for the virus). Again, it should not be mandated but people must acknowledge its effect and help easing the healthcare burden.

finally, please do seek medical help if you feel sick. No matter what medicine you believe or want to take, you have to confirm your health status and which disease exactly you have and whether it is safe to take meds. Fake nurses and doctors would go against their vow (probably the never did) and advocate self diagnosis. That can lead to very serious consequences
