I'm not the author of this thread.

My approach with averaging is just an idea - experimenting now. There are other ideas, for example, to find out only juicy entries that are rare but exist.
Today noticed an interesting moment... how I made decisions. Was tired so many times sit in drawdown of not perfect entry... So decided to do some different approach:

1) Get ready for entry - according to all decision-making factors (indicators etc)

2) But do not open deal

3) Instead, place limit order some 70% of TP - my case 7 pips

Se here example with perfect cheetah deal with that approach (SL <1 pip):

It is better to miss some trades than go in deep drawdown - averaging is the last resort to be used to get out of not perfect entries.

Now I can revive my Hamster TE.
Already got a beautiful trade on AUDJPY as you can see. (Same thing went with GBPJPY but I choose safer cheetah trade. It was a golden signal for every JPY Cross)

I wonder how Auric is doing with his private trading on LIVE. Let's hope he comes back with more insight of cheetah trading itself (Trading style).

So your 100%return means that now you doubled your account balance correct?
So, let say original balance was 1000USD
New balance now should be 2000USD.

If so, how you were able to invest 100% of account balance on just one trade with margin requirements?

1:500 is enough to catch 20-50pips for standart pair/cross.

If I had 1:2000 in my hands. I can literally scalp with full leverage . My target would be no more than 10pips. But the risk becomes more greater. It eats your balance very quickly

I would recommend looking for a broker that provides to your country and it is reliable(Not every broker will provide you 1:500~ because of your country sadly because it is based to protect traders with it's own regulations) . Remember even huge broker's can go bankrupt. You gotta look for it and test it's demo's

I'm using Roboforex not Robomarkets(It is european but somehow I got with roboforex instead of robomarkets). I can't say I would recommend but it suits me fine atm. Even tho I'm planning to go dukascopy or either way pepperstone

I wonder if anyone is still here motivated to do Cheetah trading?

As we can see the markets became more volatile and for cheetah I think it's a perfect time to ride these big wave movements.

Even then Auric is still a total mystery. Maybe that man made a million and living financially free. Who knows. I hope he is alright

Getting atleast n=10 is possible but matter the fact it is time consuming.

Little did I managed to do couple of trades this week with great success (About 6-8 right trades but only averaging 25-50% per 2-3 trades) and It took only 2 days . Question is if it's possible to actually push to n=10 with full 1:500 leverage (Of course depending on what pair we are trading)?


I might try to do N=3 for now. Can't say when

Very glad to hear you are achieving 6 to 8 right trades. Well done mate.
N=3 is better achievable but still you need a rock solid entry criteria with really high w rate.
Do you have a consistent high w rate entry? If yes you will ok for ever.
For example you can do N=3 as following:
Entry1) risk1 : reward2 if win you have total=3
Entry2) risk3 : reward6 if win you have total=9
Entry3) risk9 : reward18 if win you have total=27
Restar all over
If was loss at any point in time you just lost your initial risk1.
Rinse repeat.
Yes N=4 or 5 or 8 or 10 is better but it's more time/fund consuming.

I still did not found this consistent high w rate to use this approach

Interesting approach with R:R.

I would say it's not about the High WR because trading with this kinda approach is like a sprint competition instead of a marathon.
You most likely have to risk half/full of your margin to see the outcome and results with cheetah style.

Auric did insanely accurate trades but it takes alot of time to see the right entries and actually manage it. Anyone seeing blazingly fast profits and losses would get lost pretty quickly and start doing not according to the strategy and just throw their system/strategy out of the window instead of tweaking it. If a system manages to do atleast 2-3 correctful trades that are guaranteed to reach whatever target you're aiming at the price then the strategy works but the usability of the strategy always changes.

I've been tweaking some of my strategies but I try to see the chart less with indicators. I would say I just love looking at the market structure to see pretty much guaranteed signals but sadly I don't have volatility indicators which shows that momentum is building up.

You are on the right path in my opinion.
If you have nice trade entries please share with us even after the fact.

I think this entry was the cleanest today. Had some pretty wild entries on XAUUSD/XAGUSD but I couldn't add up more because I was at the barbershop

This trade was ultimately CHEETAH. Went over 60-70% margin (Aprox 1:300/350 leverage)

It's 80% return . It was 4 trades (0.10 lot each) and added up 1 trade (0.40 lot)

Pretty clean run at the moment I would say


Overall I had 61+€ balance. Went on a rampage of trades. Did 3 correct signals and it banked me 500%~
