I don't think you need to be emotionless you just need to understand how to control it because it might get in the way of trading.

I agree to that. The sooner we learn and improve on our mistakes, the better it is. It takes very less time for our mistakes to become our habits.

That it is okay to bear losses at times. Learned how to smile even if I see my money going away, learned how to deal with losses and still be motivated to cover them up soon.

Though it depends from trader to trader, different traders prefer using contrasting leverage while they trade. But I think for newbies, it is better to start it little low to tackle risk properly.
