It could be that US companies are stocking up in oil to benefit from the current low prices. That could also be interpreted as a hint that companies anticipate a rise in oil prices. If i was managing a company, that is what i would do now.

German Unemployment data here in FF is not the real news. According to German job center there where a total of less than 2.9 million registered unemployed in Germany 83k less people than previous months. from German Jobcenter

Nice profits, only problem im thinkin of today is if i keep my long term positions open. Who knows what those stipid politicians will say. We have 3 different monetary meeting from IMF, ECB, and FOMC.

yes thats true there is so much shadow data, and tactics to make numbers look pretty. but i am really wondering what it would take to improve US employment? or employment everywhere in general? what are the signals that tell employment will begin?

Oh thats right i meant Unemployment claims were decreasing only a short term. Unemployment is 9.6 which is higher than last months.
