good analysis, I'm also a big believer in using candles at highs/lows after a "decent" move to identify when I should stop looking for the trend to continue. So what's the monthly close you're looking for that will tell you whether it's ...

There's no right or wrong. There can be multiple counts. In fact I've 3 counts including yours, both bullish and bearish. The truth is you can come up with any count to suit your bias. Markets are dynamic and new information can blow right through ...

thanks for the above. if i may ask you, how did you decide to enter at 1528? what was your criteria? i will tell you mine. I saw 1526/1522 as support, with a wave 3 bottom potentially at 1526. however, i never place limit orders to try to catch ...

hi grashid, i'm curious, how do you get your targets, do you use elliott wave? or is it just trendline breaks and pivot points? or something else? what do you think about long gold position from here, what are your short-term targets? i think we can ...

1662 is broken by exactly $1, how does your count change now? to study neowave, did you just read the 'master elliott waves' book, or did you use any other resources? thx.

Blythe, do you come up with your own trading plan of when to enter/stoploss etc. using your neowave knowledge, or does the neowave service website provide you with the trade setups. Thanks.

long @ 1694 on the dip, sl = 1687, tgt = 1707
- nim1984 replied Mar 7, 2012
actually, looking at H1 candles now, if i see one engulfing bearish bar i will short. mkt might be waiting for adp as well, so if it sells off fast after adp i will short too.

i will clarify, i see potential resistance between 1681-87. if i see any bearish reversal candlestick formation on 4H timeframe within this price range confirming resistance, i will short, and short some more if we break below 1672. didn't see ...
- nim1984 replied Mar 7, 2012
agree, i see buy buy buy above 1697. we're at an important price here at 1681, if i see a bearish candle here and a break below 1672, we could go to 1656 or lower.

sold all 3 positions(entered @ 67,73,77) @ 1783.5. target was 1794 but didn't really like the recent price action as we saw resistance at 1786, so got out.
