  • Canada unveils retaliatory tariffs on US

    The Canadian government announced on Wednesday that it is imposing tariffs on goods from the United States in retaliation to the measures taken by the Trump administration. The 25% tariff will come into force on March 13 and will include $20.7 billion worth of US goods, including steel and aluminum. Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly (pictured) said Canada is the US' "best friend, best neighbour and best ally" that has "done nothing to justify Trump’s attacks on our country." She vowed that Canada "will not back down, and we will not give in to this coercion," adding that her government will coordinate its ... (full story)

You really have a Hollywood style overinflation of your importance in the world. In spite of the headlines nothing big has really happened anywhere else in the world because of trump. You are 350 million consumers in a world of 8 billion. Once the shift moves away its the USA that will suffer. As a history buff I see so many comparisons to the fall of the Roman empire and we all know that history tends to repeat itself. Do yourself a favour and learn to speak Chinese
