Hong Kong Customs seizes 64 kg of gold bullion worth HK$46 million in record smuggling case
On 5th March, Hong Kong Customs uncovered a significant air freight gold bullion-smuggling operation, seizing approximately 64 kilograms of suspected gold bullion with an estimated market value of around HK$46 million at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). This incident marks the largest gold bullion smuggling case recorded by Hong Kong Customs in terms of both volume and value.
