charts As mentioned in the Two Sessions meetings in March, the central Government will begin issuance on 17th May of its 1Tr yuan ($138Bn) of ultra-long special sovereign bonds. Please note, this marks only the fourth time in 26 years of such an issuance. Timeline: • 17th May, 30-year bonds to be issued (600bn yuan) • 24th May, 20-year tenors (300bn yuan) • 14th June, 50-year tenors (100bn yuan) The final batch consisting of 30-year notes will go on sale in November.
