The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) presents the results of the Monthly Indicator of Gross Fixed Capital Formation (IMFBCF). This allows us to know the behavior of investment in fixed assets in the short term. In September 2023 and with seasonally adjusted figures, the IMFBCF decreased 1.5% in real terms, at a monthly rate. By component, expenses in Construction decreased 5% at a monthly rate and in Machinery and Equipment - of national and imported origin - grew 2.7%, last September and with seasonally adjusted data.
