Ming, why is it that right wingers always imagine attackers under every rock and behind every tree? Is that critical thinking?

If "they" wanted to "bury" the story, they would simply scrub YouTube, ( which is where you most likely got your info). What's that you say? You don't use YouTube? Well, I will safely open a starter position on the fact that wherever you get your news uses those evil liberals GOOG and MSFT in some combo to push that propagan....I mean information out to you. As China has shown, information can be kept away from consumers country wide if they really and truly wanted to. Instead, every major network and newspaper has covered the story, with all of the details.

Rather than worry about "buried" stories, it might not be a bad idea dig up the concepts of analysis and critical thinking, and put those techniques to work for you.

jmn5611,
critical thinking ? Interesting.

"right wingers" ? you got me wrong.. I am super, super pro liberal
I don't imagine "attackers under every rock"
"Attacker" is what the news chose to call him.
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...pitol-n1262917
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_...Capitol_attack

As soon as the news hit social media, "twitter" went gleefully ballistic on the expectation that the attacker was a trump supporter, but just 2 days later the story is no longer a headline. It is already burried.
Quickly it was found that it cannot be "milked for all its propaganda". Reason: there is no connection to trump and the perpetrator is politically "untouchable"

Critical thinking indeed

Perhaps instead of worrying about other people's level of critical thinking, you should apply some "deconstruction and synthesis" to the events you are interested in.

Come on now Ming, you are trying to distance yourself from your political post history. You are as liberal as Nigel Farage. Even though I am from the States, I do follow UK politics rather closely for obvious reasons. Brexit, anyone?

Edit. I don't know how the web displays news in your part of the world, but in my part of the world the story continues on.

Yes, continuing as a side note and if you look for it ... but no longer front-page-news-in-your-face in all the main sream media after 2 days.
As I said, burried as soon as it lost all political value ...
I can see at least 3 current media manipulation "front-page-news-in-your-face" hot issues going on right now :
1) Preventing Voter ID in Georgia
2) Taking down Matt Goetz
3) hard sell of the $3 trillion infrastructure bill

"Come on now Ming, you are trying to distance yourself from your political post history"
Why would I do that ?
What is wrong with identifying as a super super pro liberal ?
That seems a bit "politicophobic" ....

Ming, not everyone will go for the "tell a blantant lie and hope people will believe it", so, telling people that you are a super super pro liberal is patently false based on your past postings. You even revealed it in your thinly veiled attempt at sarcasm. You use all the of the catch phrases, like, "main stream media". Then you go on to state that Matt Goetz(sp) is being taken down, and that all Georgia wants is voter ID.

You are too predictable Ming, do some opposition research, and come up with something other than what FOX has told you. Or, in your case, the Daily Mail.

I do not get my ideas from FOX or the "daily mail" ?

Fair enough. We don't need to discuss this any further. Good luck with your own "opposition research" .. I doubt you do any at all, many people don't...

But just to stay on topic, the fact is that the April 2 attack is no longer a major news item. anyone can see that...
And it is for the reasons I stated (not anyone can see that it takes a bit of "oposition research")

Just to stay on topic, and on the Factory's good side, MSNBC, which is as liberal as they get, posted a pic of the cop killer. He is black, and a member of the NOI. Where is this burial you speak of Ming?

Liberal definition - "willing to respect or accept behavior or opinions different from one's own; open to new ideas" then comes the rest of definition for political purposes.

This is clearly missing from mingary posts, both past and present, who claimed to be a "I am super, super pro liberal".....this comment/post makes my Easter Monday!!!

Where do you stand then

'Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but they generally support free markets, free trade, limited government, individual rights (including civil rights and human rights), capitalism, democracy, secularism, gender equality, racial equality, internationalism, ...'

You must be old enough to remember what a true liberal really is, I gave up on trying to explain that to people, kudos to you for asking. I think they call us Kennedy liberals today.

Liberals tend not to be conspiracy theorists. And this is just one of many that you have made. You are clearly on the hard right, everyone knows this, you are clearly trolling. Now, the latest conspiracy is that the "left" is burying the capitol police murder. Tell me, what would you like to see that would convince you that there is no grand coverup?

==> You seem to be be in favor of banning books... interesting.

Liberals tend not to be conspiracy theorists.
==> You should not generalize so much. Why the preconceived ideas ?

Let's stay on topic...

Tell me, what would you like to see that would convince you that there is no grand coverup?
==> With this particular event, perhaps seeing the left going after Louis farrakan like they do after trump...
But seriously, the story was dropped when it was revealed that the attacker was not a trump supporter. The proof is in the fact that it has no follow up AND that the story of the Jan 6 Capitol break-in gets infinite play in the media.
No conspiracy needed. 100 % political.
