Looks like the 6 God really is a god in Toronto – Drake is running the city.

Coming off his fourth Grammy win, and being cut off mid-acceptance speech, Drake asked the mayor of Toronto to light up the CN Tower in his honor.

"The mayor of Toronto needs to turn the CN Tower gold tomorrow – chromin' gold, are you stupid? Are you dumb?" the 32-year-old said to Entertainment Tonight backstage Sunday.

Say less.

They obliged.

The CN Tower's official Twitter page announced on Monday that they were lighting up the building in gold to celebrate Canada's Grammy nominees and winners – and Drake specifically, as noted in a tweet from Toronto's mayor, John Tory.

"Tonight we’re going gold to celebrate the outstanding artists whose work makes Canada shine so brightly on the world stage," the CN Tower's page proclaimed. "Congratulations to the nominees and winners at the 2019 Grammys!"

Tory's tweet mentioned Drake specifically.

Even Drake appeared to be a little surprised at getting his wish granted. He posted a photo of the CN Tower to his Instagram page and gave Tory a shout-out.

"I love my city and this is my real sign of love and recognition thank you to the waviest mayor John Tory!" wrote the Toronto native.
