Sir joel,
1 question:
are u using the default 15posts per page or the customized 40posts per page?

right, as one progresses, the time spent in every page here shortens.

I really need help and comments how i should approach things ( again i'm pretty much againts the wall with a double sword infront of when it comes to get a job)...
Hello,
i have experienced a similar situation.
the possible differences are that my situation was 5-10x worse than yours,
but i can work under pressure, & my learning curve is a bit 'fast'.
despite these positive facts, i struggled immensely.

it's VERY difficult to trade well when you are under pressure. DO NOT trade live now. u will most likely lose all of your $500. & if that happens, it will aggravate your problem/s.

my suggestions
be VERY frugal, cut a lot of unnecessary expenses, find a job ASAP,
while learning/reading this thread & demo trading.
if u wanna speed up the learning process, read post #1 of this thread & absorb all u can from Cyrus' summaries (like this; view his post history for more).
Demo trade & ask questions... we are here to help!
God bless

Hello fellow Asian,
Sir mbqb11 & raczekfx are unique traders; that is, they have different trading styles.
read through their posts & find which best suits your personality.
Good luck!

Hello ddinnov,
i have seen your previous posts.. i even checked your post history.

one of the first habits u should have is looking at the big picture -- that is, looking at many bars/zooming out instead of zooming in.

it's pretty much like crossing a street:
u cant just look to the left & ignore the right side or
u cant look at only 1/4 of the left & right side.
or else..... BOOM

trading is risky when u have a narrow field of vision

Hello ertorque,
do u use MT4?
in MT4's Terminal, u will see 'Trade, Account History, News, ...Alert.. Journal..'
Go to the Alert Tab, & play with it.
or try something like a trendline alert.

a strong CHF [or any currency for that matter] is 'bad' for the economy ('bad' in terms of Swiss exports: swiss watches, swiss cheese, swiss chocolate , swiss knives, anything Swiss )...
im not that great at fundamentals, so something along that line.

not necessarily..

i think Central Banks have other means to intervene. (im not sure how/what)
like Mike said, after some time they give up (&/or they may already have fulfilled their 'mission' so they stop intervening)

Hello ertorque, others,
this explains why yours is different.
always remember each of us here uses a different feed/s (not to mention being live &/or demo).
IBFX is GMT + 0, while FXPro i think is GMT + 2 (or + 3)

u should always check what broker the charts (posted here) are from prior comparing to your own charts

Hello ertorque,
the location does not seem ideal for an IPB. (i think IPBs work better on swing highs/lows or doble bottoms/tops; compare the environment/location of your 2 charts)
& from my limited observation of IPBs, the better ones have a matching high/low or have a protruding high/low (minor protrusion or not)
in your 2 charts' case, they are not protruding, thus looking like an IB too AND continuation pins.
like IBs, IMHO, IPBs should be viewed & traded with discretion as opposed of trading mechanically ('mechanically' meaning trading the IPB regardless of trend, location, etc).
if u see IPBs, i think it would be beneficial to view them as possible IPB and continuation PB, instead of narrow-mindedly viewing it as just an IPB.

i believe, if u havent yet, it would be best to concentrate on the basic PA setups first.
once comfortable & experienced in the basics (PA setups & PPZ recognition), then u can venture into learning about & trading IPBs etc, if u so choose.
step by step. 'slow & steady', as u say.

hope this helps.

precisely my point below
good to know others observed it too.
we should be vigilant: IPB's can be IBs or PB's, so trade accordingly.
