These guys can not pronounce "gh" the way we do Nasir which is why I except Goss as the pronunciation.

I guess the "Gh" sounds like the german "ch", which sounds like a very soft "rrrr" or the spanish J in Jos?.
Back to topic... Here is a trade I am in: AUDCHF BUOB on weekly. Not a beauty, I know. And something I am far from being proud of.
I entered @ 1.0050 and missed to go to BE after price has been @ 1.0070. In hindsight this was a bad decision:
Price is not only lingering around the VBRN (instead of clearly breaking it) it is...

Hey Bro, yeah that's it thanx.
I have done my audio but find that .rar is not an excepted file here at FF, and due to problems with my ISP the downloading's disabled on my internet for some time so can't even download winzip.
Will still upload the audio when I can.
cheers.

Sorry for offtopic, but it?s nice to see what your trading was few years ago. I just found my old templates.
I tried to watch one of those templates and it included so many indicators that my system crashed It was hilarious..
|
Such moments revive us don't they.
My first trading system consisted of three indicators each taking about 1/3 of my screen space...what did that mean? no price bars at all...lol!
here's a snap shot of the holy grail at work.

Looks good ATc,
If anything could have been better it had to be the IPB forming in place of the earlier swing high than where it is right now,
but that said it doesn't destroy the setup IMHO.
In my book it's one of those "get em' to BE quick" kinda setups.

Round numbers to say the least are petrol to the engine in the markets. The biggest games in the markets are almost always pivoted at round numbers. These games begin and often end on these round numbers.
As an analytical price action trader the first thing you need to look for...is not a PA bar...but it's what price is really up to. try wondering what the big game in the market might be. How do you do that?
Try deciphering what the BUBs and your IPB I marked were up to. Think where price would really have liked to go once the ppz below 1.02 broke.
There's more to a chart than just a PA bar and the confluences that may surround it,
Was it a good looking IPB at a swing high, sure! Was it brilliantly located? Given that it was not at or off the 1.03, NO!!
Even a slight idea of what I am talking about would just make you smile at the recent price action on the Usd/Cad. BIG orders Like BIG round numbers, and price get's attracted to these like a magnet.

Agreed.
The weekly's a neat look except that this week's high only just managed to poke out of the high of the weekly IPB.
But then again trading price isn't a science.
and good attempt at the pronunciation Artov, you need to stretch it just a little less though, you went through the mp3?

An idea.
I have been itching to share a recent successful experiment with ya'll. The idea was to present it once the result was really certain but like I did with the IPB I'll mention it anyway to poke at a few pondering heads.
This one's actually reminiscent of a damn good trading system which I am working on (extensive back testing and forward testing)
50 EMA
Bollinger Bands.
Price action with the trend preferably at a confluence of the 50 EMA with one of the lines of BB. Moderate trends give lot's of such entries.
Strong trends can be ridden off the middle line of the BB alone.
Range bound markets are traded with typical J16 knowledge using the 50 EMA as a res/supp base/pivot.
Events where price drops or rises above the 50 ema and pulls back to it for the first time are often neat locations.
note: this is still tentative stuff...just throwing a thing in your court which looks like a ball, see for yourself if it actually is one that'll suit your game.
***----***
The core is still strictly j16 with regards to entry and trade management.
Incredibly simple and powerful...

nuff said!

I'm liking the location but it looks like the move down was pretty sharp.
I'd like to hear from ghous on this one

Everything's fine about this one...but I get a gut feeling we're demanding too much from this bar, I guess I get this feeling looking at the strong move down.
but I have to admit, the confluences on this one are sweeet!

They are one and the same thing. What we want them for is divergence, and I have seen both fulfill that purpose efficiently.
