My entry would be from the left eye, look how the PB have developed in relation with the previous bar, in this kind of situation always (in a perfect world) she retrace till the left eye befor she breaks. I was planning to enter on the left eye but was busy with something else and pulled the trigger lately, I know it sounds like I'm chasing a trade, but I could easily wait for the break of the PB, as a second way to enter a trade.........if a missed the first.

Anyway I have a problem regarding this,...

This all depends on the type of trader YOU are. The way that Jim has taught this is to wait for confirmation or a "break". This is the way I prefer to trade. I do not ever anticipate a break. My account suffered as a result of that philosophy on many an occasion. I will wait for a break and then a retrace on most occasions before I get in a trade. I miss out on some that way, but I am comfortable with that.

Two reasons why this trade didn't "run". #1 Most Important--Look a the huge moves preceding your long entry. Now look at the puny bar you entered on? There should be a "Dirt Simple" moment forming in your trading mentality at this moment. I dont trade the puny bars. On some occasions I will with a confirming move later but I do not want to go into that now. #2 Pretty Important--Just tough to find on your chart as presented. You have to go back to Jan 2000 to find bar lows that will have an impact on your position. However, they are there and need to be looked at just as if they were formed in Jan 2010. Each bar low is resistance to your long position. You traded a puny bar into resistance. This is a B- short set up IMHO. For brevity I am cutting to the chase for you and all to benefit. I'm not trying to be funny or insulting. I've been right where you are and am trying to be a helpful part of your learning experience.

Good chart and th answer to your question is "Yes". Now whait until the daily bar is formed and then decide if you will take a short position on the break.
